I am writing a blog about how being a Freshman at BYU is overwhelming.
How Cliche does it get, right?
BUT IT'S TRUE! this semester has been so insane.
i don't think i am mature enough for college.
i spend too much time on facebook/pinterest or watching the same DVD's over and over again.
it's not like i have a bumpin social life or anything? i don't do a whole lot of anything. but it always seems more tempting to do something of little or no use with your time, instead of something that will genuinely help your grades or future.
Which has lead to a drop in my grades and the number of hours i sleep each night. i am pretty much nocturnal at this point.
it has also left me with twelve blogs to write and two days to write them.
procrastination rocks. so i apologize if the following eleven blogs don't spark too much interest, and aren't as well researched as the earlier blogs, but, time is of the essence people, and i know some of you in my class are in the same boat as i am.
Next semester my goal is to schedule my time more wisely, and study in the library more often.
i always seem to get more done when i am not in my own apartment.
does anyone else agree?
i think it is because i feel a little bit uncomfortable or out of place in that giant library, so i get my work done quicker so i can get out of there sooner.
In the comfort of my own apartment there are too many distractions, like roommates with boy drama, Gilmore girls, Pandora Radio, piles of laundry to fold and Dr. Pepper cravings.
You think i can do it? lets hope so.

Oh! I definitely agree! This entire semester it seems as though I've been combating distractions, trying not to procrastinate, striving to get up motivation to do things and so forth! I feel as though I have learned tons in that area though, so hopefully I can do better in the future! (It would sure be nice to get rid of procrastination stress, that's for sure!) Yet at the same time I do believe that it is healthy and even needed (for sanity's purpose) to kick back and relax once in a while!
