Boom. Humbled.

So you know, oh, yesterday, when i posted the blog with the word 'Overwhelmed' in the title?
do you know what i think now?
i think i was being a baby.
yea, i am in school, and i am behind, and it kinda sucks.....a lot.

but that is nothing compared to the challenges that some people face.
i think, 'i don't know if i can do this' about attending BYU
i can't even imagine being this man.

Okay so i tried to insert the video but i'm not exactly pro at blogging and i can't figure it out. His names is Carl B. Cook and he is telling a story of just after he was called to be in the Quorum of the 70, and how overwhelming the entire experience was. he speaks of an instant, as he stood in the elevator, staring at the ground, wondering how he could ever do this, when the Prophet himself stepped in to join him and asked him what he was looking at, and left him with the wise council, "It is better to look up".

i wont spoil the talk for you, but i definitely suggest you watch it, if you didn't catch it at this last conference, or if it was one that you let your eyes rest to (we all do it, it's okay to admit) it will be eight minutes well spent. Just copy and paste the above URL into your browser and it should come up.

sometimes we need to remember that even when we think we can no longer do it, there is always harder challenges, ahead us or behind, or that others are facing at the same time. and there are always reasons for the challenges we have, and that God knows us, and knows what is right for each and every one of us. Whether that means we need to struggle to succeed, or it means that we need to fail, God knows us, he always has, and he always will, and sometimes we need to learn to just let things go.

Mosiah 4:9-"Believe in God. Believe that he is. believe that he has all wisdom and all power. both in heaven and in earth."
